IMPORTANT GUIDELINES I FOLLOWED BEFORE I APPLIED FOR GOOGLE ADSENSE - APPROVED

Are you a blogger or website owner? Are you working from home? Do you desire to apply for a new Adsense account? If your answer is yes, then this article is for you. Adsense ad is a great way to earn good currency from the comfort of your home. But before you can be paid, you need to adhere to some hard works and Adsense policies. Google Adsense is the single and only advertising as well as publishing network around the world that pays well if you work for it. Google make the most of its revenue from Adsense program. It is true that several bloggers, webmasters and other publishers also making good money from Adsense program.

GOOGLE ADSENSE PROGRAM
Getting an Adsense account used to be very easy in those days when you can apply for an Adsense account with a blogspot but Google noticed that so many users try to get rich by cheating Google. Because of this fact, Google made some strict rules called Adsense policy which every webmaster must follow before their Adsense account can be approved. Getting  an approved Adsense account is one difficult thing that has given several good webmasters trouble  as well as thousands of new publishers who tried to signed sign up for the program. From my own personal experience and research, I was able to come up with the guidelines written below to assist anyone interested in applying for Google Asense account. It is advised that you should carefully before applying for a new Asense account.

Before I Got Approved, I Did The Following Things Before Applying For Google Adsense
1.       TOP LEVEL DOMAIN
Here is the number one place where webmasters and new publisher totally fails to get approved. Google approves account mostly to publishers have a top-level domain. Written below are some examples of Top level domain: gistindex.com, google.com, martinslibrary.com, nigeria.org etc. These domains can be purchased at cheap rates from sites like godaddy.com etc (you can do more research and find out more).

Various webmasters in their posts say that domain age matters, but I don't really aagree with them because I got approved within two weeks after I registered my domain (www.martinslibrary.com).  Please note that I had enough posts before I applied. Never try to apply for Adsense with sub-domains like www.blogname.blogspot.com , www.websitename.wordpress.com etc. Please also note that in very uncommon cases, an Adsense account can get approved by these domains but I’m very sure that the chances are less than one percent (<1 %).

2.       CONTENT OF A BLOG/WEBSITE
This is the second step and important thing you need to check like the first one.  Google will not approve your application neither will your Adsense account get approved if you are posting contents related to pornography, drugs, arms, cracks & hacking, and other illegal activities. It is advised to always make sure that you are not dealing with such contents before applying for Adsense account. If you are going to apply for Adsense using a blog/website, make sure that there are enough contents in it.

3.       COPYRIGHTED CONTENTS
If you are the type that posts copyrighted materials such as articles, images , videos etc which are not your property, please just move on to other advertising programs because you have just wasted your time. I advise you not to waste your precious time because you will never get approved. Try your best to write your own article contents to enrich your website or blog.

4.       DESIGN OF YOUR WEBSITE

Google is global company which is out to do business and make money and they work with only serious minded people. Like a saying goes; first impression matters, the look/design of your website/blog is very important. Google will not approve a site that looks like a childs play. Adsense approval relates to your template design. Constantly try to keep a pleasant look for your website. Adsense not allows overridden advertisements, so if your widgets were placed without any good order or it is overlapped with other widgets and contents, please I advise you to make proper changes before applying for the program.

5.       REMOVE ALL OTHER AFFILIATE AD NETWORKS
If your website or blog is displaying other affiliates ads like yahoo ads, chitika, infolinks etc, please remove all of before applying for the program. Like I said before, Google is out to make money so they  gives very large importance for their advertisers, if your blog/website has advertisements similar to Google advertisements, it is against Google Adsense T & C which means that your application cannot be approved.

6.       DISABLE INORGANIC TRAFFIC
Google like organic traffic (traffic from search engines) and hates inorganic traffic (traffic redirected from one source, so if you are using proxies and other link exchanging systems, please be advised to stop it before applying for Adsense. Adsense hates proxies and other inorganic traffic sites. Do no link back your site to site with pornographic, drugs, arms and other illicit contents.

7.       KEEP IMPORTANT PAGES
Note this: before applying for Adsense account, please make sure that you had some important pages like About us, contact as well as privacy policy page. Keeping those pages make a sense that you are serious to your site and person who review your site, looks it as a positive value. Adsense T & C states that you should keep a privacy policy page visible to every visitor. Create it yourself and publish before going for Adsense. Now you are almost done.

That is all I did and I scaled through with my Adsense account approved. Now if you have followed all the guidelines written above, you are eligible to apply for your Adsense account.  Be assured that this time you will get your Adsense account approved. Please feel free to research online and find more guidelines. You can also read directly from Adsense policies.

Did you follow all the guideline above but still failed? It is not an end of your career because there are several alternatives like yahoo ads, infolinks, chitika, bidvitiser, etc. But Adsense remains the best and most paid. All other ads are just extras to fill the cup.
